Uganda’s Ministry of Health has confirmed 201 COVID-19 cases from tests that were done on yesterday, September 8, 2020 bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 4,101. Newcomer Dr. Charles Ayume a son of former Attorney General Francis Joash Ayume has emerged victorious in the just concluded Koboko Municipality National Resistance Movement (NRM) Primary. Dr. Ayume defeated State Minister of Privatisation Evelyn Anite who is most famous for moving the sole candidature motion in the NRM that saw President Museveni contest unopposed in 2011.
