Security has been tightened along the Kasese-Katwe road in response to a violent attack that occurred on Tuesday evening, resulting in the tragic deaths of two tourists and their Ugandan tour guide. The Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) confirmed to this website, the nationalities of the victims as British and South African, but their names remain undisclosed. Equity Bank Uganda has come under scrutiny following reports of customers experiencing the unexplained disappearance of their deposits. One such case involves Farook Ssekandi, who claims to have lost Shs 10 million, suspecting possible internal fraud within the bank. Ssekandi expressed his frustration in a viral video, accusing Equity Bank of failing to assist him in recovering his lost funds. The Archbishop Emeritus of Mbarara Archdiocese, His Grace Paul Kamuza Bakyenga has passed away at 79 years of age. The news of his demise was confirmed by Rev Fr. The High Court in Kampala has committed to jail the Mbarara North MP and NRM Central Executive Committee (CEC) member representing the Entrepreneur’s League, Robert Mwesigwa Rukaari over failure to pay Ugx 992 million. Tax body Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) has granted Uganda Breweries Limited (UBL) Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) license, during an event held at Speke Resort Munyonyo on November 11th 2022.
