Faded singer Clever J’s hustle to make a musical comeback has got the better of him.
Just weeks ago, he went over himself and dared Leone Island boss Jose Chameleone to a music battle, something the latter didn’t take lightly. The Kampala Mayoral hopeful quickly brushed him off and told him to dare his equals, mentioning Lil Pazo in the mix.
The Genda Ogule Emotoka singer gave Chameleone an ultimatum of five days to apologize to him insisting that he is bigger than and can’t battle Clever J. He even went over and labelled him a ‘mad person’.
Noticing that his jokes were causing unnecessary vibe, Clever J has come out to clarify his intentions and revealed that he only seeks a collabo from his musical godfather.
“We usually talk about music battles when we are joking. However, the truth is that fans are the one’s who requested for the music battle. In fact, I often use it to get the other persons opinion but in a joking way. Truthfully speaking I can’t battle Chameleone because he has very many songs yet I only have a handful of songs. For a battle I can’t handle him but we can work on a collabo.” Clever J said.
