The Chief Magistrates Court in Makindye has ordered for the unconditional release of novelist, Kakwenza Rukirabashaija from any detention. Lawyer and Makerere University School of Law lecturer Robert Kirunda has urged school owners and administrations to speak out in case of any outbreaks of COVID-19 among learners when schools re-open on January 10th, 2022. The Uganda Police is holding in custody five suspects at Arua Central Police Station (CPS) over theft of the Arua Regional Referral Hospital ambulance, The Ugandan Wire can confirm. The Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) has confirmed that fallen “God” Owobusobozi Bisaka of the Faith of Unity Cult at Kapyemi, Muhorro Town Council in Kagadi District will be accorded a State Funeral as recognition for his life as a Champion of Development in the Country.
