The Makerere University main building was gutted by strong flames last night that burnt down the building roof and sunk it in. The fire, whose cause is suspected to be electricity, broke out at about 1 am in the night and the Police Fire Brigade spent the entire night fighting to put it off. Kampala Metropolitan Police Deputy Spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire has confirmed that the Force are hunting for two suspects who strangled and stabbed a one Batte Christopher, 58, a special hire driver in Mukono.
