According to statistics from the health department of Kabale district, SOME 93 cases of Tuberculosis (TB) were registered across both private and health facilities between January and August this year from a total of 24,023 people who were screened for the disease. Statistics indicate that from January to March, 37 cases were registered, from April to June, 41 cases were recorded and 15 cases were recorded from July to August this year. The Anti-Corruption Court has threatened to order for the arrest of Ms. Sylvia Muwebwa Ntambi, the Chairperson Equal Opportunities Commission should she fail to appear in court on 29th this month. Muwebwa is wanted to answer charges of conspiracy to defraud and corruption.
