The International Crimes Division of the High Court has ordered Kigo Prison to release the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kawempe North and a member of the National Unity Platform (NUP) Mohammad Ssegirinya with immediate effect. Last week, the High Court in Masaka released on bail two opposition MPs including Allan Ssewanyana (Makindye West) Ssegirinya (Kawempe North). Uganda has received the first batch of refugees from Afghanistan today Wednesday morning for temporary stay as it is not safe for them back at home.
