Tanzanian National, 3 Others Sent to Jail Over Mob Justice

Four residents of Balintuma Zone in Kiwatule Nakawa Division in Kampala including a Tanzanian National,  who are alleged to have killed a person by Mob Justice have been charged with Manslaughter before the Buganda Road Court.

Mugerwa Nyenje Ronnie a Businessman, Kiiza Fred a plumber, Mabula Magumba Hassan a Tanzanian National together with Turyatunga Emmanuel a Mason are alleged to have beaten to death a one Mutamba Allan whom they suspected to be a thief on 1st November, 2020 at Balintuma Zone in Kiwatule Nakawa Division, Kampala District.

They have appeared before Chief Magistrate Miriam Okello Ayo and denied the charges.

They were then sent on remand to Kitalya Government Prison until 30th November as investigations into their case continue.
