The speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga has asked government to step in and help evacuate BET Award winner Eddy Kenzo from Ivory Coast where has been stuck since the COVID-19 lockdown.
She called upon the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to give Consular Assistance to Kenzo, expedite his return and clear his bills for the period he has been holed up in the West African country.
Speaker Kadaga said she received a call from the singer who cried out for help, said he badly needed to get home and called upon her office to help him in the process.
“I call upon the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through our mission in Abuja to assist him to come home” Kadaga said.
