The Archbishop of the Province of the Church of Uganda, Dr. Stephen Kazimba Mugalu, has asked Christians to remain united and reconcile with one another in order to build a peaceful church and country.

Archbishop Kazimba made the call yesterday while preaching during the
thanksgiving of the Bishop of the Diocese of Kigezi, Rt. Rev. Eng George
Bagamuhunda, who was celebrating seven years in service, during a
function held at St. Peter’s Cathedral Rugarama in Kabale Municipality.

He implored Christians to reconcile, forgive, worship God with utmost
sincerity in their hearts and renew their faith, saying that this will help them to revamp the Christian values based on their conduct.

Archbishop Kazimba also commended Bishop Bagamuhunda for being a
hardworking religious leader who has worked hard to develop the diocese.

In his remarks, the Bishop of the Diocese of Kigezi, Rt. Rev. Eng George
Bagamuhunda, commended the clergy and Christians for cooperating and
working closely with him to develop the diocese.
