If you ever want to have a get away to western Uganda and are spoilt for choice of residence, you might want to consider Kyangabi Crater Resort located in Rubirizi District.

Located in a sleek, calm environment like most upcountry lodges, the facility that borders Queen Elizabeth National Park hotel offers hotel and lodging services such as; gym, satellite television in all rooms, conference halls, Wi-Fi in public areas among others.

The Resort, according to management, has double, twin and family rooms. They also have 2 noise free conference halls; one that accommodates 80 people on average and another that accommodates 120 people.

As regards tourism and adventure, the facility provides an opportunity to tour exciting physical features in the area such as crater lakes, caves, among others.

“The Kyangabi experience from our hospitality to staff, food and view of the park along with the architectural stone carvings create a relaxing ambiance that is incomparable to any other.” Management further said.

A night at the resort starts from USD 120 a night. Payment for their rooms can be by Cash, Visa Card, Mobile Money, Bank Transfer, or Bank Deposit.

Kyangabi Crater Resort is situated in Rubirizi district, approximately 180 miles (290km) west of the National Capital, Kampala and approximately 56 miles (90km) north west of Mbarara. The facility is 1km from the main road, opposite Kichwamba Primary School on the Mbarara-Kasese highway.
