Musician Moses Ssali alias Bebe Cool, a long time supporter of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) and President Museveni might be the ruling government’s answer to the wave that fellow musician Robert Kyagulanyi – Bobi Wine is creating among the people.
The artiste, who has dedicated his schedule to trailing the NRM flag bearer and campaigning for him wherever he goes, was in Nebbi District yesterday to rally support for Mr. Museveni for the term of 2021-2026.
Bebe Cool is accompanied by other dedicated NRM supporters in the music industry such as Catherine Kusasira, Big Eye, Coco Finger, Phina Mugerwa, Jingo Sho and Music Promoter Bajjo.
Speaking to this website yesterday, Bebe Cool said he could not afford to sit home while the achievements and future plans of President Museveni are being downplayed the way his nemesis Bobi Wine is doing.
“I have grown up in this government. I know where we started. In our starting days, we could barely afford what to eat from our careers. But the government gave us an enabling environment and our concerts, before COVID-19 could even go till morning without security threats.” Bebe Cool said.
He credited the NRM government for prioritizing peace, insisting that it is the first step to socio-economic development of any society.
The group of artistes will now be headed to Moyo District, in greater Madi to mobilize support for the NRM and President Museveni.
