Presidential candidate and National Unity Platform (NUP) flag bearer Robert Kyagulanyi was today in Kisoro District canvassing for votes where he claimed that the incumbent President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni used former IGP and son of the soil General Kale Kayihura and dumped him.

The Kyadondo East Member of Parliament tasked Museveni to come to campaign in Kisoro with General Kayihura if he indeed is a free man and prove him wrong.

“Museveni used General Kayihura to make mistakes and dumped him. He is not a free man. He was arrested with General Tumukunde who is running for presidency but Kayihura can’t even go home. If I’m lying, let Museveni come to campaign in Kisoro with General Kayihura,” Kyagulanyi said.

Kyagulanyi also attacked the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) of Kisoro District accusing him of intimidating the people of Kisoro about attending his rally in the district.

“The RDC of Kisoro, Peter Mugisha, was on radio and said that anyone who was planning to attend our campaign should first dig their grave because he would shoot them dead. Looks like so many graves were dug today but none will be used,” Bobi Wine stated through his Facebook page.

Kyagulanyi was joined by his wife Barbara Itungo to campaign in districts of Kisoro, Rukiga, Rubanda and Kabale today, 16th December 2020, the same areas that Nancy Kalembe too was traversing for votes.
