Yesterday 12th March 2020, mourners stormed Kyambogo cell northern ward in Kanungu town Kanungu town council, Kanungu district to bid farewell to the late Ritah Nahurira.

The deceased was a graduate of Quantitative Economics from Makerere University and an old girl of Mbarara based Maryhill High School.

Ms Nahurira passed on on Monday March 9th 2020 when she fell off from the boda-boda she was travelling and was knocked by a speeding truck at Kanyanya, on Gayaza road.

Before her burial, a funeral service was held at St Charles Lwanga, Jinja Karoli Kawempe division, Kampala district on Wednesday 11th March 2020.

Speaking on her daughter’s burial, Dr. Nazaroius Rukanyangira Kyengoro showed his dissatisfaction towards boda-boda riders who only mind about making money rather than caring about lives of their customers.

He requested Uganda police to intervene into the matter and deeply investigate her daughter’s killers so that they’re held accountable. May she rest in peace.
