Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Head of Public and Corporate Affairs, also the Authority’s Spokesperson Mr Peter Kaujju has resigned.
According to information we have obtained, Kaujju issued a notice of resignation from this position that will be effective June 30, 2020 after 9 years in the Communications Department at KCCA.
“Kaujju joined KCCA in 2011 as a Communications Supervisor in the Public and Corporate Affairs (PCA) Office and has risen through the ranks over the years until to-date where he’s been serving as the Head of Public and Corporate Affairs Department of the Executive Office.” KCCA said in a statement.
In a message of appreciation, the Authority recognised that Kaujju was instrumental in successfully establishing KCCA’s brand voice and guiding Management on formulation of the best communications strategies as well as their execution.
“He was critical in building networks and positioning KCCA as a client centric Institution while at the same time strengthening partnerships. Our best wishes to Peter in his endeavours ahead.” The statement further read.
There is credible information to the effect that Kaujju is headed to hydro-power distribution company UMEME as their new head of Communications and Marketing.
He holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) – Communication and Diplomacy from ESAMI in Arusha as well as a Post Graduate Diploma from ECOLE Nationale College, Paris in France. He studied a Bachelors Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Makerere University.
Before KCCA, Kaujju worked at Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) in the communications department as well as at ZK Advertising, an advertising agency. He also had a stint at government owned New Vision as a business reporter.
