Public motor-mouth Joseph Tamale-Mirundi will nolonger be appearing on popular NBS TV program “One On One With Tamale Mirundi” tomorrow, according to information from his son Joseph Tamale Mirundi Jr.

Exclusive information that this website has obtained, indicates that the former State House full-time employee turned Presidential Advisor on Media Affairs has bowed out of the Kamwokya based station under unclear circumstances with some alleging that the State has a huge hand to play.

Tamale, whose fight against the mafia, has been the highlight of his TV and radio career constantly made mention of an anonymous figure that he referred to as “Kateera” that runs the Mafia in Uganda.

Sometimes, he’d suggest that it refers to former Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi or Vision Group CEO Robert Kabushenga whenever it suited his talk that his critics termed as ‘propaganda’.

As if that is not enough, even his various shows on Radios and other TV station may have come to an abrupt end with our sources alleging that it is the mafia that he constantly sings about that is behind his downfall.

“Tamale Mirundi’s Television and Radio career may have come to an end after his tormentors convinced President Yoweri Museveni that his man is acting with unprecedented impunity in attacking and abusing them.” Simon Muyanga Lutaaya, his former host on the program said.

According to Muyanga Lutaaya, the TV station (NBS) has been threatened with a fat sum of Shs 10Bn in damages if they continue hosting Mirundi that is constantly attacking them.

“NBS TV has been threatened by the tormentors with a Shs 10Bn in damages should they continue to host Mirundi whose anti- graft fight during this COVID-19 money spending spree has put their jobs on line. Can my NBS TV still hold?” He pondered.
