Former Jinja district Resident District Commissioner Eric Sakwa yesterday evening dodged death after his office vehicle got petrol bombed by yet to be identified assailants in Nankulabye a Kampala surburb.
It was a cold evening as the a group of community members patriotically saved Museveni’s boy from this massacre moments before another bomb had been dropped onto his car.
Kampala Metropolitan Police deputy spokesperson, Mr Luke Owoyesigyire said Mr Sakwa was saved by community members as one of the suspects was about to hurl the second petrol bomb at the car.
Eric Sakwa got known more in battles of fighting for the common man’s land against getting grabbed by the wealthy ‘wigs’ in government.
It should be remembered that he had suspended himself from work over allegations of leading a team of LDU’s that tortured Isanga, a resident Lwanda in Jinja district, who later passed on.
