The Verbatim on the whole Saga
Comrades, Kampala Metro, good afternoon.
Yesterday was a dark day for us as a family. Upon hearing the news of our comrade, our colleague, the man who has no problem with anyone, a very hard working man, time manager, time keeper, just as the supervisor has stated.
So, JB is no more, and it is confirmed JB is no more.
We are with Mr. Sassu at the mortuary in the morning, and some other block L members, where we picked the body from the mortuary, and handed it over to the A-plus home, where it is lying now.
Updates are that, one, our comrade will be buried on Wednesday, just as I have been communicating on different platforms.
Tomorrow we have mass starting at 8am. It is very early in the morning, because also the Commissioner wants to attend. So, let us also attend in big numbers, because basically there is no family here, it is us.
Let us go, I implore you to go and refill that church, so that we bid farewell to our fallen comrade.
About his death, the details are still scanty, but preliminary investigations show that Bosco had that close friend of his, Reverend Father Dominique.
Some members knew him in block L, used to come to check on him.
The family members knew him, he was a cousin to Bosco.
Bosco lent him money, close to seven to eight, eleven million.
And when it came to demanding for the money, the Reverend Father opted to end his life by coming on the fateful day, Friday, caused him to leave work.
When they went up to their home, they sat with him up to 10am, and then the father told him, let us go to Entebbe.
To go and, I don’t know, to go and do what, whatever, we don’t know.
But Bosco drove the father in Bosco’s own car, and as they reached the UN headquarters, the Reverend Father pulled out a very brand new sharp knife, and started piercing, started stabbing, all over the face, everywhere.
Bosco was trying to fight, if you look at his fingers, you see bruises, trying to fight, but he couldn’t, good enough.
He had his phone in his pocket, he jumped out of the vehicle, and fell on the roadside.
The boda boda guy who was passing by stopped to pick him up, actually picked him up, put him on the border, and as he was driving him to hospital, this guy drives the Bosco’s vehicle and knocked them down.
So the guy thought that Bosco is dead, he ran away, he just took off on foot.
So, in the scaffold, as he ran, the UN guys came, picked the two people, put them in their vehicle, rushed them to Entebbe grade B, but as they were going to hospital, John Bosco pulled out his phone, called his mother in the village, and told her, Mommy, Mommy, Father Dominic has stabbed me, Father Dominic has stabbed me if I die, Father Dominic has stabbed me.
So he reached the hospital talking, he told the doctors, please teach me, I’m dying, Father Dominic has stabbed me.
So in the process of teaching him, because he lost too much blood, that’s how he lost his life.
Yesterday, the whole day, police were doing investigations, we were working with the Honorable Minister of Karamoja Affairs, who was on the ground, and indeed, footages were indicating Father Dominic appearing in every stage of whatever was happening, the movements, and even what action took place.
So he has been on the run, but news coming in is that he has now been arrested, and they are bringing him to Kampala to proceed with the law.
So he’s on his way to Kampala. That’s what I have for you. I want to appreciate the members of Block L who have stood with us, Michelle, Irene, our trapper, who accepted to stay with the family, stand with the family.
Bosco was renting, we refused to use his home because probably we thought it was a scene of crime since the father first visited his home on the first full night.
So Irene opted to house the family. The family members are very few, almost around six, as we do the support.
So Irene is home. We didn’t want to communicate a video because it’s not a video. So we shall have Bosco’s body delivered to us tomorrow at 8 a.m. sharp.
Let’s keep ourselves safe. Bosco died because he was doing good. He lent someone money because he demanded it.
Someone chose to take his life. It is unfortunate, but that is life. Let us keep as a team.
Let’s keep as a family. Let’s console ourselves. Let’s pray that Bosco’s soul rests in eternal peace.
May God bless all of you. Have a very nice Sunday, colleagues. Kampala Metro.
