Former Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, the Rt. Rev. Stanley Ntagali has for the first time spoken to the media about his much publicised affair with a married big bummed woman.

Speaking to local daily, The New Vision on phone, the Man of God refuted claims that he had sent out an apology on social media platform Twitter. We have since established that the tweet on @BishopNtagali was made by a fake/parody account.

“It is not mine. It is not my tweet.” Ntagali told the press. However, when the reporter pressed him further to talk about the scandal with the big bummed married woman, the Archbishop withdrew.

“Sorry my dear. I don’t want to speak to the press.” Ntagali reportedly said.

The Ugandan Wire has since established that the Church of Uganda House of Bishops comprising of 37 dioceses will meet on Thursday this week to deliberate on issues among others the suspension of Archbishop Ntagali.

Rt. Rev. Ntagali was suspended by his successor Rt. Rev. Steven Kaziimba Mugalu and the suspension revealed in the latter’s letter to Anglican Bishops under their Umbrella, the Global Anglican Future Conference (GAFCON) and all Christians in the Anglican Community.
