Dr. Peter Mugisha, a doctor at the Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital has died of the novel noronavirus – reports in the western Ugandan city indicate.
Dr. Mugisha, 2007 cohort of the Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) undergraduate class and 2013 Masters in Dermatology Class of the same institution has been practising Dermatology all his career.
“He dedicated all his life to MUST as a teacher, examiner and clinician in Dermatology. He was a very easy going and friendly man.” MUST Alumni said in a statement.
According to initial reports, the doctor is survived by a wife and a young boy. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
