Coronavirus pandemic is without doubt not sparing Ugandans especially comedians and artists who have been depending on concerts and shows to fetch a daily living for survival.
Comedians like MC Kapale and Mariachi have today came out boldly to testify how broke they are and how they cannot afford a day’s breakfast, lunch and supper.
They have called upon government to extend its posho and beans project to their homes rather than seeing them as top celebrities in round town when they don’t even have Shs 1,000 in their pockets.
Alex Muhangi however called upon comedians to avoid lamenting on social media and TV and rather approach their friends in private for help.
Other comedians like Madrat and Chiko have donated 10,000kgs of posho for the COVID-19 task force to distribute to comedians who have been strongly ass-whooped by the lock down.
