National Unity Platform (NUP) Presidential flag bearer Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu alias Bobi Wine has withdrawn his Supreme Court election petition challenging the election of President Museveni on January 14th.

The Kyadondo East legislator and musician has alleged bias among members of the Supreme Court bench and cited it as the reason for his withdrawal.

Bobi Wine made the announcement on Monday morning while addressing a press conference at the NUP party offices in Kamwokya.

“We have instructed our lawyers to withdraw our case from Mr. Owiny Dollo’s court immediately because we don’t think that is a court that will deliver justice to the people,” he said.

“We have decided to take our case to the court of public opinion but we continue to denounce any form of violence.”

This is a developing story! DETAILS to follow.
