The music fan’s fraternity in the west African nation of Nigeria (Naija) have announced a boycott on all Ugandan music after court sent their born artistes Omah Lay and Tems to Kitalya Government Prison. Omah Lay and Tems, are facing among others charges of deliberately exposing the population to a deadly pandemic after they held a “brunch” concert at Speke Resort Munyonyo with no COVID-19 standard operating procedures. Police in Rukiga District are holding two people on suspicion of having masterminded the killing of a man in his 20s. The suspects, Loyce Kanyakire and Saul Owomugisha are all residents ofKitanga Parish, Kashambya Sub-County in Rukiga District. The duo is believed to have ganged up at unknown time on Monday night and beaten Godfrey Turyasingura, a resident of Rutooma Village in Kashambya Sub-County which resulted into his death. The Supreme Court has denied bail to a Chinese National Wang Nan Noel who was sentenced to 35 years imprisonment for the murder of his Uncle and attempted murder of his Cousin in 2004. It was a sad day for the journalism fraternity and people of Kihumuro Central Ward Nyamunuuka Town Council Ntungamo District as news of the death of veteran journalist and former RDC Lyantondde Sulaiman Tiguragara Matojo Ssalongo struck. Kampala High Court’s Civil Division has ordered Government to produce the body of NRM cadre Bruno Francis Bazibu dead or alive on Monday 30th November, 2020.
