The Uganda Nurses an Midwives Union, has registered a loss of over 50 members following the second wave of the deadly COVID-19 virus that has hit the country. Terrorist group Al-Qaeda’s training manuals on how to make and detonate bombs were found and recovered from the homes of suspected attackers of former Army Commander and Works and Transport Minister Gen Edward Katumba Wamala, Police has said in a statement. Starting Thursday 1st July, 2021, Ugandans will start accessing Internet services and all other social media sites without paying the Over The Top (OTT) tax or using encrypted connections such as Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) in a new taxation module passed by the Parliament of Uganda.
