In just a space of 5 days Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) has lost two graduates. Earlier this week Ahmed who was a graduate at IUIU passed away in a fatal motor accident that happened in Somalia.
On 31st December 2019, Wakooli Ali a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resource Management graduate of the 2019 class also passed away in the morning hours after successfully completing the first UPDF recruitment exercise at Maluku ground in Mbale.
Ali decided to join the UPDF force to serve his country after completing his studies and when the on going UPDF recruitment exercise started he saw it as a chance but unfortunately he didn’t make it.
The late Ali served in IUIU sports department as a referee, he was also the course coordinator for Human Resource management class. May his soul rest in Eternal peace.
UPDF recruitment began on December 27th 2019 across the country.
