Kyandondo East Member of Parliament (MP) Robert Kyagulanyi Saentamu alias Bobi Wine has implored young people (youths) to join the struggle and not lag behind as they are the leaders of tomorrow.
Kyagulanyi said this yesterday at the People Power headquarters following the unveiling of the Youth Coordinators and leaders from the different regions of the country.
“Young people, you always sit back yet you have scourges, oppression. It’s high time you got out of the comfort zones and fought for your future.” Kyagulanyi said.
He implored the unveiled leaders to work very resourcefully for young people but also extend the People Power ideology to the other members of society.
“Our newly unveiled leaders, your work is not only to spread the good cause to youths but also to our elders because some of them are blinded,” the 2021 Presidential hopeful said.
Bobi Wine called upon the ‘youths in the struggle’ to stand for various positions as the enemy is now outsourcing its own desperate youths to take up those position.
“If you can’t come out for any position then render support to those who emerged out than demotivating them.” He said.
The ceremony attracted many youths from all over Uganda, mainly spearheaded by the Youth Wing leaders like Hon. Zaake Butebi, Roy Ssemboga, Marvin Saasi, Namirembe Angella, and Kateregga Julius to mention but a few.
The event comes closely after the launch of a political party named National Unity Platform (NUP) with the umbrella as its symbol on Wednesday that is headed by Bobi Wine himself.
