Former Presidential Candidate and NUP’s Premier Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has today officially announced that he is withdrawing the 2021 election petition against the incumbent Gen. Yoweri Museveni. from the supreme court to the people’s court.

He announced this while addressing the media at the Party Offices in Kamwokya-Kampala today.

We also learnt that Bobi Wine held a private meeting with his lawyers and top NUP members at his home in Magere on Sunday night, where they came up with 25 reasons why he should withdraw the petition.

Bobi Wine has on several occasions dragged the supreme court judges of being regime apologists and once puppets of President Museveni.

Bobi Wine says that chief amongst reasons for withdrawal of the petition is the Supreme Court’s rejection of evidence his lawyers filed last week, which exposed the malpractices that were exhibited in the presidential election.
