Ugandans have been spitting fire, poking Robert Kabushenga, The Vision Group CEO for cutting workers’ salaries amid allegations of contracts for huge sums of money that the company is signing with government during the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic lock down.
Robert Kabushenga said that Vision Group was not given any large amounts of Money as per allegations made by Members of Parliament (MPs).
“In April we won a tender worth Shs 5.9b to print and distribute Ministry of Education Materials and the payment is meant to be done in July besides the job being completed”, Vision Group CEO told our eagle eyed snoop.
He also added that they got an order from Ministry Of Works and Transport worth Shs 55M to print stickers of essential workers and the stickers were supplied on credit.
“None of this money has been paid to Vision Group”, Kabushenga claims.
