According to reports, there is strange wave of cough and flue that is currently sweeping around Kampala and its close neighboring districts that has continued to raise alarms on whether it could be a wave of COVID-19 the Ministry of Health has been talking about.

This cough and flue does not come like the normal cough that people normally suffer from, this specific type comes with intense headaches and fever to some extent make you lose appetite for almost a week.

One could deduce that it could be COVID-19 because of almost similar signs and symptoms however, according a some people we interviewed with the same sickness upon testing for covid-19, the results came out negative and others positive.

The Ministry of Health has recently warned about the skyrocketing of covid-19 cases in Uganda especially in Kampala, forcing the President to call for an urgent meeting with the national task force that will be held today
