In Today’s Plenary, the speaker of Parliament Hon Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga warned MPs that are aimlessly speaking about the Shs 10 Billion they secretly shared amongst themselves as the COVID-19 facilitation.
She says only her and the parliamentary commission understand it and are permitted to speak about it.
MPs have each shared Shs 20 milion that the speaker says is for their advocacy and parliamentary task force for COVID-19.
“Committees are following up on what’s happening in hospitals and they are reporting to the country”, Speaker Kadaga justifies the Shs 10b allocation to Members of Parliament.
