Parents and students of Kawaala College School were shocked after the director of the school turned it into residential apartments for people to rent.
It is said that this school has been operating for more than 20 years and was one of the biggest schools around Kawaala, Kasubi zone.
The director of the school Herbert Lujja decided to start the reconstruction to turn into rental units and works have already commenced.
Asked why he would do this in this COVID-19 pandemic, Lujja further noted that an agreement was reached to create rooms for staff members in case government makes it mandatory for all teachers to reside within school premises.
