As the coronavirus lockdown is having us ‘wake up to sleep again,’ American movie streaming giant Netflix, has heard our cries of the lockdown with Season four of Money Heist.
Netflix has released Part Four of the Spanish La Casa De Papel (translated as house of paper) series today 3rd April 2020.
Part 3 left everyone in high gear not sure of what was to happen next, with Nairobi (Alba Flores) getting grossly injured by a sniper shot and Professor (Àlvaro Morte) on the run, no one can possibly guess how it will end in Part Four.
Alex Pina, the writer of this series that have caught global attention says that he is currently working on two more series as part of his output deal with Netflix. These series are White Lines and Sky Rojo.
When asked whether fans should anticipate another part after Four, she could not give a straight answer but beat around the bush, leaving fans not sure of the end.
In her own words, this is what she had to say (translated from Spanish).
The Spanish series which started showing on 2nd May 2017, airing on Spanish television Antena 3 soon caught world attention after Netflix picked it up in 2018 to air Internationally.
The series depict actors dressed in red jumpsuits with masks of Spanish painter Salvador Domingo Felipe Jacinto Dali. Part Three alone which had over thirty four millions tuning in to watch proved a success to Netflix.
Netflix has however added extra clips to Part Three that were not in the earlier release. One of the added clip is the one involving Brazilian football stay Neymar which was formerly removed, so a rewatch of Part Three could be a good decision.
Netflix however technically classed each season as a part. This is the reason why season four is coming in as part four with it’s trailer that was released on 3rd March.
The new season is set to include 8 episodes in total where fans expect a bunch of explosive nonstop drama and mind boggling twists and turns. Fans are anticipating more compelling action from Tokyo (Úsula Carbeló) as well as the unthinkable cordinated wisdom of Professor.
The series revolves around a bunch of robbers who take hostages in order to print money for themselves and then plan their escape. In season three, these attacked the Royal Mint of Spain after one of them (Rio) was tracked on a phone and captured.
This forced the professor to swing into action and implement Berlin’s plan of capturing the royal mint in order to force Europal hand over Rio. The season however ended with a lot of questions with Nairobi gravely injured, Lisbon captured, an incoming assault on the bank. The Professor declaring DEFCON 2 and Tokyo narrating that the professor had fallen for his own trap and that “the war hard begun” is all we remember. It’s time to dive in Part Four and wash our hands after every episode.
