Rema’s New Boyfriend Reported for Romping his Patient

He who finds a wife, finds a good thing. So they say but it seems not the case for Dr. Hamza Ssebunya who has, in recent weeks, been a topic of discussion in the entertainment spheres as Rema Namakula’s new catch.

Rema broke up with her longtime lover Eddy Kenzo, with whom she has a daughter, to settle with her doctor Dr. Hamza Ssebunya and preparations to introduce him to her parents are in order for the ceremony slated for November.

Ssebunya, who is a medical doctor, had another wife before he met with Rema Namakula and that seems to have fluffed a few feathers, particularly those of Mr. Sharif Sentongo Nambaale.

Mr. Sharif, supposedly a medical practitioner himself, has submitted a plea to the Allied Health Professional Council urging it to have Dr. Ssebunya summoned by the disciplinary committee for what he terms as ‘professional and ethical misconduct’.

In the document availed to this website Mr. Sharif, represented by Nalukoola, Kakeeto Advocates and Solicitors, notes that Dr. Hamuza interfered with Eddy Kenzo and Rema’s relationship something which is against the set ethical standards because Rema was Ssebunya’s patient.

The doctor-patient romantic relationships are publicly berated with the argument that the doctor’s responsibility is to put the patient’s health needs first, not their own wants or desires.

There are prospects that the traditional introduction ceremony will be foiled if Dr. Ssebunya is indeed found guilty of professional and ethical misconduct.
