President Yoweri Museveni has congratulated Joe Biden, the President Elect of the United States of America.

In a congratulatory tweet, Museveni said the over 40M Black population in America and the faithful to God link the US with Uganda and Africa.

He appealed to the Democratic Party candidate ally with Uganda and Africa for development.

“H.E. Joe Biden, President-Elect of the USA. Congratulations and greetings from the People of Uganda. The USA, with its black population of 47.4m people, as well as a large Christian population linked with us by faith, could easily be a natural ally of Uganda and Africa.” Museveni tweeted.

As expected, his tweet didn’t go down well with his critics who accuse him of overstaying in power. With the election of Biden, President Museveni has seen six presidents of the USA come and go.

Museveni, as leader of Uganda has interacted with Ronald Reagan, George Bush Snr, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barrack Obama and the incumbent Donald J. Trump.
