Police yesterday evening arrested Robert Mijumbi a Kyambogo University graduate of Biology who has been claiming to have coronavirus vaccine through his videos uploaded on YouTube.

Police together with a team from the National Drug Authority (NDA) searched what Mujjumbi has been claiming to be a laboratory at his residence in Bweyogere only to end up in his bedroom.

He was arrested following the videos that were making rounds on the internet in which he claims to have invented a vaccine that cures coronavirus and HIV.

Police told our reporter that they only found pieces of test tubes, conical flasks, bunsen-burners and a microscope.

The National Drug Authority says that his vaccine does not have any medical element in it and warned the public against such kinds of people.
