“For me it is time to go. Thank you & good bye!” Robert Kabushenga, the outgoing Vision Group CEO wrote on his Twitter handle as he shared a joyful moment at his now former office with his successor Don Wanyama.

Mr. Wanyama, who has hitherto been the Senior Presidential Press Secretary has assumed office at the Vision Group offices along Third Street in Industrial Area, Kampala.

“So the man himself Don Wanyama trying out “the chair” of Managing Director/CEO at Vision Group. For me it is time to go. Thank you & good bye!” Kabushenga said.

Kabushenga, who now says he will spend his retirement at his Rugyeyo Farm in Wakiso District, has been praised for steering Vision Group from strictly print to a stream of media innovations in TV, Radio and Digital.

Uganda Prisons Commissioner General Johnson Byabashaija credited him for not leaving any pending works on his desk as he bowed out from the position.

“Interesting, you have left no pending work on the desk. Great. Congratulations to Mr. Don Wanyama.” Byabashaija tweeted.
