Patrick Bakkamale, who has been Headmaster of King’s College, Buddo from 2008 – to date is dead. The Ugandan Wire has received exclusive information that the long serving Headmaster passed on this morning.
The news of his passing was first announced on social media platform twitter in a viral tweet by prominent lawyer and old Budonian old boy, Kato Mpanga.
“To the King’s College Budo community, I am very sorry to announce to you the untimely demise of Mr. Patrick Bakkamale, Headmaster 2008 to date. MHRIP and may God comfort his family and all the bereaved. Kitalo nyo.” He tweeted.
The Uganda Rugby Union followed thereon with, “Very sad news! Mr. Patrick Bakka Male was very supportive in the development of Rugby in King’s College Budo.”
One of the old boys, Michael Mulindwa quoted an extract from one of the educationist’s speeches and tweeted, “The warmer the bed, the colder the future. Rest in Peace comrade.”
His cause of death, is yet to be revealed.
The Late Bakkamale holds a bachelor’s degree of Science with Education, majoring in Physics and Mathematics, a Masters’ degree in Education Administration and Planning.
He taught at Namilyango College for a few months in 1986.
He later in the year went to King’s College Budo where he taught Mathematics and Physics.
In 2002, he was posted to Muntuyera High School – Kitunga.
Between 2004 and 2007, he was transferred to Mengo Senior School as headteacher. In 2008, Male was transferred to King’s College Budo where he served until his passing.
