The Ntungamo Municipality MP aspirant on the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) ticket Rumanzi Perez has revealed that he will not shave any bodily hair including beards, pubic hair and hair on his head until President Museveni quits power and hands it over to civilian Ugandans.
Rumanzi, a former Scribe with Daily Monitor Publications based in Ntungamo and Rukungiri districts noted that he has been in protest against the removal of presidential age limit and term limit in the 1995 Ugandan constitution since 14th November, 2017.
He told FDC members from Ntungamo District while opening up new FDC offices Ntungamo Municipality on Tuesday that if President Museveni does not relinquish power, he will not shave again in his life.
Rumanzi also promised the motorcyclists in Ntungamo Municipality to donate half of his salary and buy two boda bodas for each stage.
Rumanzi noted that in the five years as a Member of Parliament for Ntungamo Municipality he will make sure that every motorcyclist will own his own bike in a bid to eradicate poverty.
While presiding over the FDC opening offices function located on the old Mbarara – Kabale road near Municipal clinic in the Alice Kafooda building the FDC party vice chairperson Ntungamo District Annet Namara implored the public to come out and throw their support to FDC as only party that will build new Uganda.
Namara hailed Alice Kafooda for offering free office to the party.
