While giving National Address on Tuesday evening 12/1/2021, President Museveni assured the world’s tech and social media giant Facebook that Uganda government, especially the NRM will not tolerate the arrogance Facebook has continued to exhibit ahead of the highly charged general elections slated for 14th Feb 2021.

This came after Facebook blocked social media pages of numerous NRM mouth pieces, Full Figure, Bajjo, Ashburg Kato and Ismah for reasons yet to be clearly identified.

” Facebook should be used equitably if it’s to be allowed to operate in Uganda, if it wants to take sides against NRM then it’s not fit to operate in Uganda”, President Museveni warned.

Museveni later revealed that he is aware that the government of Uganda blocked some of the social media apps today.
