When was the last time you saw someone getting nailed in the hands? Biblical times, not so? Well, unknown goons in Kalerwe, a Kawempe suburb have reminisced the times of our Lord Jesus Christ and crucified a supporter of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) in spectacular but very painful fashion, according to Radio Simba.
The unidentified victim, is a youthful male who was clad in a yellow beret similar to those red ones associated to Bobi Wine’s People Power. According to information we have received, he was located around Kalerwe market and nailed.
His tormentors used 6 inch nails, exactly the same size as the ones that they used to nail Jesus to the cross and nailed the gentlemen on his yellow beret. They were specific to ensure that the nails go through the picture of President Museveni, the National Chairman of NRM whose picture appears on the front of the beret.
Ugandans of all political affiliations have all come out to condemn this act calling for peace and brotherhood as the country heads into 2021 polls. They have called out to all Ugandans to respect choices of people and not seek to instill their beliefs on them.
“Ekuumi terikyawa omu. We all need change but in a peaceful way. As a Ugandan, I have a right to support any political party of my choice. These are just colors we found in existence and we shall leave them in existence still. It’s high time we condemn the use of drugs because this is done by people who are using drugs” Dravu Baker called out.
“As a people powerian, I condemn this so so much, we are brothers and sisters, we are Ugandans, why torture ourselves, this country belongs to us, enmity is useless. Let’s preach love and democracy, security organs we belong together, work for Ugandans not personalities. Bino tebituzimba, Ndaba Okulonda kubeere kwa Ddembe.” Rogers Kimbugwe of People Power added.
We were not able to establish the identity of the victim but by press time, we were informed he was safely in hospital. We pray that he recovers very well.
