Kyadondo East MP Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu (Bobi Wine)’s National Unity Platform (NUP) has warned that members shall not be allowed to possess other party cards ahead of the 2021 Presidential and General elections.

NUP, that was rebranded last week as the People Power Movement’s political wing seeks to accommodate all politicians that seek to contest under the movement and ride on its popularity.

Happening today at their Kamwokya head office, the NUP will for the greater part of today be distributing brand new party membership cards for the people that believe in his People Power movement.

NUP chose an umbrella as its symbol for the forthcoming elections and hope to present the now world famous Kyadondo East legislator as their presidential candidate for 2021.

“We want committed membership. We were warned about opportunists that would use us and dump us when time is appropriate for them and we therefore think the NUP is a blessing for us because it is at this time when we will discover the people that believe in our message.” An Insider at the party told this website.
