President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has urged religious leaders to emphasize the fact that man has both spiritual and physical needs.
Museveni said that the spiritual needs are satisfied through praying to God, studying the scriptures, listening to religious and moral instruction, fasting, praise and worship, among others.
He added that these enables believers to draw closer to God and impart good morals and discipline while relating with other people.
He made the remarks while speaking as the guest of honor at this year’s Martyrs day Celebrations.
Museveni explained that physical needs must be satisfied in order to achieve a happy, fulfilling and productive life.
