Flambouyant and motor-mouthed National Resistance Movement (NRM) Chairperson of the Women’s League Ms Lydia Wanyoto Mutende is headed for disaster as preliminary results from Mbale City show her trailing ashamingly.
The NRM top official is a regular on Capital FM’s capital gang and a close confidant of President Yoweri Museveni. She is tussling it out for Mbale City Woman MP with Ms Connie Galiwango.
Galiwango, who is proving to be a no-nonsense competitor in the race has embarrassed Ms Wanyoto on several polling stations where the latter has registered as low as zero votes on some.
The other competitor in the race is outspoken Jalia Namasaba.
