The Prime Minister of Uganda Rt Hon Nabbanja Robinah has hosted the victorious Kitara FC team to congratulate them on their recent triumph in the Uganda Stanbic Cup. 

Kitara Football Club, the newly crowned Uganda Cup winners, presented their trophy to the  Prime Minister of Uganda Rt Hon Nabbanja Robinah at the OPM offfices in Kampala this afternoon.

The club’s president, Deo Kasozi, and CEO, Joshua Atugonza, led the team to OPM.

Nabbanja congratulated Kitara F.C on the great strides and promised  enduring support for the development of the club.

Kitara F.C President Deo Kasozi thanked the Premier for according them audience and appealed for government support in the upcoming campaign in the Caf Confederation Cup.

Kitara FC secured their victory in the Uganda Cup by defeating NEC 1-0 in the final held at Mutesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku recently. This victory earned them the opportunity to represent Uganda in the CAF Confederations Cup.
