Reports reaching us suggest that Iran has placed an 80m dollar bounty on American President Donald Trump’s head following the death of General Qassem Soleimani.

The Iranian General was killed last week after a US drone strike on his convoy at Baghdad airport. From a video that was shared on social media detailing events from the General’s funeral, thousands of people marched in protest of the actions by the United States before a male voice was heard placing the million dollar bounty.

“On behalf of all of Iran’s people – 80 million Iranians – and each puts aside US$1, it would equal $80 million. And we would give this $80million, on our own behalf, as a gift to anyone who brings the head of the person who ordered the murder of the grand figure of our revolution. Anyone who brings us the head of this yellow-haired lunatic, we would give him $80 million on behalf of the great Iranian nation. Chant if you agree.” A male voice, thought to be from one of the organisers, said at the gathering.

Unprecedented roars of chants followed thereafter. However, the bounty is considered a very useless attempt by the Iranians at getting back at the United States President considering he is the most protected figure on earth. No one would risk getting to him like that for just $80m.

“The United States just spent two trillion dollars on Military Equipment. We are the biggest and by far the best in the World! If Iran attacks an American Base, or any American, we will be sending some of that brand new beautiful equipment their way…and without hesitation!” Trump tweeted yesterday.

The World War 3 tension hit its all time high when the Iranian General was killed in a drone strike in Baghdad and the ball is currently in the Iran Court. Analysts believe an $80m bounty is not necessarily the best comeback the nuclear power has.

We await more developments!
