It one month since celebrated artiste and Ugandan BET Award Winner Eddy Kenzo uploaded the video of the Masaka Kids Africana dancing to his song, Tweyagale. In less than 31 days, the song has already gathered over 12M views on YouTube.

Released on 23rd February 2020, the video has had the Sitya Loss singer over the moon, even as he is reportedly stuck in Ivory Coast where he had gone to perform.

Kenzo, who recently revealed that using kids to dance in his videos is an original idea that sprung him unto international recognition, advised other artistes to come up with their own concepts and distinguish their art.

The Masaka Kids Africana was born just a few years ago as an inspiration from the Triplets Ghetto Kids. Their dances and lifestyle, like the Ghetto Kids, seem to have caught the attention of the international audience.

“It is a group composed of young Ugandan children, from the age of 2 and up. Many have lost one or both parents through the devastation of war, famine and disease.” A statement about the children reads.

The original video has 1.3m views on YouTube but the dance video has pushed the song to far imaginable heights and we can tell why Kenzo is excited. He is the biggest Ugandan artiste on YouTube with millions of fans all over the world, yet he can barely construct a sentence in English.
