President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is set to address the nation again on the status of the COVID-19 pandemic in Uganda, today at 8pm.
The president has made the announcement just minutes ago using his twitter platform.
He is believed to once again assure the nation about the government measures being taken to contain the pandemic, and announce new measures if any that the public must adhere to.
“I will address the country today at 8pm, offering an update on the status of the Covid-19 pandemic and what more measures we can undertake as a country to stem the spread of this disease.” President Museveni tweeted.
Uganda has so far registered 33 COVID-19 cases, all steming from citizens that went abroad in the last months. Hundreds however, have tested negative.
