Jailed renowned Gospel Singer Margret Kayima aka Nabbi Omukazi’s freedom still hangs in balance after Buganda Road Court has again sent her back on remand until 28th January, 2021.
Nabbi Omukazi and Pastor Siraje are jointly charged with City Pastor Franklin Mondo Mugisha whose criminal summons have also been extended to 28th January, 2021, for him to appear without fail before presiding Grade One Magistrate Gladys Kamasanyu.
Nabbi Omukazi has languished in Kigo Government Prison after her Lawyer Robert Lutalo objected to the charges preferred against all of them saying they are incurably defective to sustain a charge against them.
They are alleged to have committed the offence between 2017 and 15th November, 2020 in Kampala and Mutukula Boarder in Kyotera.
They deny the allegation. Pastor Siraje Ssemanda is also on remand at Kitalya Government prison.
