Government of Uganda has today finally restored internet and social media fully except Facebook, this website has learnt.
“Internet and social media have been fully restored. We apologize for the inconveniences caused, but its was for the security of our country. Let us be constructive, Not distructive users”, State Minister for Information Peter Ogwang posted on his social media.
This comes after almost a month of internet shutdown that was instigated on Uganda a few hours to the 2021 general elections in January.
