National Unity Platform (NUP) presidential flag bearer Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine has confirmed his resilience towards the liberation of the Uganda despite all the “tyranny that the ‘dictator’ is causing to the citizens of Uganda.”
Kyagulanyi says that Museveni thinks he is torturing and weakening National Unity Platform or Bobi Wine as a person forgetting that the misery is shared by all Ugandans who are not blind folded to analyze the situation.
“The murder of my bodyguard Frank Ssenteza who was knocked down by a speeding military vehicle on Sunday is one of the criteria the dictator is using to weaken us but as a matter of fact we are growing stronger,” Kyagulanyi said at a press conference held at the NUP headquarters in Kamwokya.
Kyagulanyi emphasized that giving up on the liberation struggle will be a betrayal to fellow fighters who have lost their lives and Uganda at large.
“Let Museveni torture as many as he wants but we are not ready to give up, Ugandans will decide come 14thJanuary 2021.” He says.
Concern about the injured Journalists
“Journalists are very paramount in all aspects of the country, human rights defenders, bring to board any case of human rights violation. The attack on journalists is a clear indicator of what the regime is preparing ahead of 2021 elections.” Bobi Wine says.
Kyagulanyi urged journalists to continue with their work without fear or favor because “they are not breaking any law – it’s their work.”
